Purchased in December 2007, Monks Haven Cafe and offices provide the base for our
operations.
The building was constructed in the 12th century as a chapel of ease, and
some of the original stonework and features survive to this day. The building now
serves as both a successful cafe on the cobbled stretch of Church Street, right in
the heart of the old town of Whitby.
